Public help centre: share part of your knowledge with customers

You can publish selected parts of the knowledge base as a public help centre on a separate website, without login, using your own logo and colours.

What is it useful for?

Customer FAQs, user guides and product information. You create the document once, and the same content can help employees internally and customers externally.

How do I publish an article?

Mark it as public. Only published documents appear in the help centre. Drafts never do. If you remove the public setting, the article disappears immediately from the help centre and its search.

Your own web address

The help centre can run on your own domain, for example help.yourcompany.com. We handle the certificate. You control the appearance, including logo, colours, welcome text and footer.

Can it be password protected?

Yes. If the help centre is not intended for everyone, for example if it is for resellers, you can protect it with one shared password without requiring individual accounts. Changing the password signs out previous visitors.

Can I have more than one help centre?

Yes. A company can have multiple help centres with different names, addresses and content, for example one for customers and another for partners.

Can Google index it?

If you allow it. You control search-engine indexing separately for each help centre. A password-protected help centre can never be indexed.
