Onboarding: a day-by-day plan with checks
Onboarding lets you take part of the knowledge base, put it in order, divide it into days and assign it to an employee. Each day they receive the material for that day and can answer check questions at the end.
How do I create an onboarding plan?
Choose documents from the knowledge base, split them across days and set the start date. The plan remains available as a template, so you can assign the same onboarding to the next new employee with one click.
What does the employee see?
Today’s content. Future days remain locked even if the employee finishes quickly. This is deliberate: you control the pace of onboarding. Completed days stay open, so they can return to earlier material at any time.
How do I check whether they understood it?
You can add check questions to the end of each document and a quiz at the end of the plan. You can write the questions yourself or ask AI to suggest them from the training material, then choose which ones to use. You can see the answers and scores.
What can I see?
A clear overview showing who is on track, who is behind and who has finished. If a plan has a deadline, the system sends an email reminder before it is due and alerts you if the deadline passes.
What happens at the end?
The employee receives a completion message and you receive a notification. The plan is completed, but the documents remain available to the employee in the knowledge base as reference material.
Can this happen automatically?
Yes. You can assign a starter pack to a group, consisting of an onboarding plan plus required acknowledgements. A new employee automatically receives it on their first login, so you do not have to remember to assign everything manually.
