Team: roles, groups and employee lifecycle
The four roles
- Owner: can see and manage everything, including the document vault and subscription.
- Admin: manages content and employees, but cannot change other admins or the owner and only sees document-vault content that has been shared with them.
- Trainer: creates content, assigns onboarding and monitors progress.
- Employee: sees what has been assigned to them, including their onboarding and the relevant parts of the knowledge base.
A role determines permission level only. What someone learns is controlled by assignments, not by their role.
Groups
You can organise employees into groups, for example shop, warehouse or office. A group can have a starter pack containing an onboarding plan and required acknowledgements, which new members receive automatically on first login.
How do I add an employee?
By email invitation. You can invite people one at a time or import multiple employees from a CSV file, with row-by-row feedback showing which entries succeeded and which did not.
What happens when someone leaves?
Mark them as having left. They no longer occupy a paid seat, but their data, progress and accepted acknowledgements remain archived. Nothing that may be needed later is automatically deleted.
Internal messages
Corganize includes internal messaging so questions during onboarding do not have to move to email or another app. If the recipient is not currently in Corganize, they receive an email notification that someone has messaged them.
